Dilations‎, ‎models‎, ‎scattering and spectral problems of 1D discrete Hamiltonian systems

In this paper, the maximal dissipative extensions of a symmetric singular 1D discrete Hamiltonian operator with maximal deficiency indices (2,2) (in limit-circle cases at ±∞) and acting in the Hilbert space ℓ_{Ω}²(Z;C²) (Z:={0,±1,±2,...}) are considered. We consider two classes dissipative operators with separated boundary conditions both at -∞ and ∞. For each of these cases we establish a self...

SYM Description of SFT Hamiltonian in a PP-Wave Background

We compute string field theory Hamiltonian matrix elements and compare them with matrix elements of the dilatation operator in gauge theory. We get precise agreement between the string field theory and gauge theory computations once the correct cubic Hamiltonian matrix elements in string field theory and a particular basis of states in gauge theory are used. We proceed to compute the matrix ele...

On dilatation operator for a renormalizable theory

Given a renormalizable theory we construct the dilatation operator, in the sense of generator of RG flow of composite operators. The generator is found as a differential operator acting on the space of normal symbols of composite operators in the theory. In the spirit of AdS/CFT correspondence, this operator is interpreted as the Hamiltonian of the dual theory. In the case of a field theory wit...

Towards Baxter equation in supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories

We perform an explicit two-loop calculation of the dilatation operator acting on single trace Wilson operators built from holomorphic scalar fields and an arbitrary number of covariant derivatives in N = 2 and N = 4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories. We demonstrate that its eigenspectrum exhibits double degeneracy of opposite parity eigenstates which suggests that the two-loop dilatation opera...

Integrability of two-loop dilatation operator in gauge theories

We study the two-loop dilatation operator in the noncompact SL(2) sector of QCD and supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories with N = 1, 2, 4 supercharges. The analysis is performed for Wilson operators built from three quark/gaugino fields of the same helicity belonging to the fundamental/adjoint representation of the SU(3)/SU(Nc) gauge group and involving an arbitrary number of covariant derivative...
